{ABOUT}----------------------------------------------------------------------
First real racing game for CASIO Algebra FX2 / Graph100 calculators.
       Features:
       - fast, smooth scrolling
       - big sprites
       - big (128x128) size of tracks
       - external tracks
       - you can make your own tracks
       - best times stored in BASIC file for each track

{Installation}---------------------------------------------------------------
To install The RACE game you have to:
       1. copy the following files to the calc:
          - race.exe
          - tiles.dat
          - at least one .map track file
With this package a file 'race.cdr' is included which contains
all those files and can be used with FlashCOM communication program.
       2. create a BASIC file on your calc, named: " RACECFG"
(space at the beginning!), it's size should be exactly 242 bytes.
       3. run race.exe, you can run it with Linl or Explorer or Touche.
       4. program will ask you for the drive letter on which program was
installed - so if you for example uploaded this game to 'M' drive
just pres 'M' key and 'EXE'.

{Tracks Editor}--------------------------------------------------------------
To make your own tracks you need to install
"Graphics Studio for TI calculators" on your PC. It is very badly
designed program, but I coudn't find anything better as
       shape & tile editor.
Directory SRCDAT contains data of all provided tracks.
How to make your own track:
       1. run Graphics Studio
       2. set Tiles to be 16x16 (Tiles menu)
       3. choose MapEditor/Open
       4. choose Files/Open
       5. open 'blank.gsm' map file (it is located in SRCDAT directiory)
       6. draw your own track
       7. save your track, give it other than 'blank.gsm' name
       8. create file with initial player position and checkpoints,
          it shoud contain following lines:
          - in first line should be player's starting X,Y coords and dir.
Each map grid is 256 pts large, so coord (example) 21,30 on map
and car facing right would be coded like:
            5376,7680,90
          - in second line you should give checkpoints amount (you can
have not more than 15 checkpoints)
          - in following lines you should give X,Y coords of each checkpoint
            in each line
In case of problems analyze .chk files from SRCDAT directory.
       9. run gsm2map.exe with .gsm map file name, .chk file name and
output .map file name as parameters.
          Example:
          gsm2map.exe first.gsm first.chk first.map
      10. Test your track with racepc.exe on your PC.

Note 1: strange pixels appearing at the bottom of the screen are
not a bug, but simply emulated Casio screen buffers, alse
PC version has a very primitive keyboard handling so it is rather
          unplayable.
Note 2: when you need to press [CTRL] key on PC version
you should press [F6] key instead,
press [a] and [F6] to end race, control keys:
                  [j],[l],[i],[k]
Note 3: tiles data are readed from separate file so you cannot
          change tiles, only map.
