Well,35+E II don't need FA-150,it has a flash drive.If you plug in calculator and it will pop-up a window, just press F1(flash drive) and a progressbar will pop out.When it done,you can see a drive on your computer's file explorer.(Just like a USB flash disk)
You can read user manual and see how to link calculator to computer.

If you installed FA-150 previously and it worked, you may have a rare case where the OS allowed basic transfer, but it's not fully compatible.
Before plugging it into your computer, ensure the calculator is in Receive mode:
On your calculator:
Press MENU
Go to LINK
Choose “Receive” (or sometimes “USB” > “Receive” depending on OS version)
Wait until it says “Receiving...”
Now connect the calculator to your PC using a proper USB cable.
Only after the calculator is in receive mode and plugged in, launch FA-124
